Strengthening Collaboration, IP-COS Invites Three Lecturers from USIM to Lecturer Exchange Program
International Program of Communication Studies (IP-COS) once again provided an opportunity for the students to experience the ambience of international standard by inviting international guest lecturers on Monday (13/03). IP-COS collaborates with Communication Program from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Malaysia for the lecturer exchange.
In the even semester of academic year 2022/2023, at least three lecturers from USIM will give lectures in several classes in IP-COS. The three lecturers are Dr. Raqib Bin Mohd Sofian, Muhammad Zaki Mustafa, and Dr. Safiyyah Binti Ahmad Sabri.
In this occasion, Dr. Takdir Ali Mukti as a dean of Faculty of Social dan Political Sciences (FISIPOL) welcomed the guest lecturers and conveyed his hopes, especially the collaboration with the other faculty from USIM. “By having this collaboration, I hope not only Communication Department that collaborate with Faculty of Leadership and Management from USIM but also with other departments,” said Dr. Takdir Ali Mukti.
The head of Communication Department, Dr. Fajar Junaedi, also shared his hopes regarding the activities that will be conducted. “I hope beside the lecturer exchange program, we can do other collaboration like international community service,” said Dr. Fajar Junaedi.
The welcoming forum took place in FISIPOL assembly room and it was attended by the structural of FISIPOL and lecturers from Communication Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
